Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service - Southeast San Diego - Brining Forth the Dream

Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. and Jackie Robinson Family YMCA bring you the MLK Day of Service for Southeast San Diego! Join us as various community organizations partner to create a clean and beautiful Southeast San Diego, while honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Gear list:

Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, wet or muddy. Long, sturdy pants are recommended.

Closed toe shoes are required. Sturdy tennis shoes or hiking shoes are recommended.

This event involves physical activity and walking a long distance. We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle. Water will also be available at the staging area.

If you have extra garbage bags, work gloves or grabbers, please bring them. If you don’t have any, that is OK! We will provide some supplies.
